March Photo Challenge Day 1 Wildschooling

The first pic in the My Little Home School March 2019 photo challenge is about wildschooling. We love to get into nature, to feel the earth under our feet and to hear the birds.

Wildshooling at its best!

We love wildschooling. Especially because it suits our wildlings! We had quite a long period of the boys being fearful of many, many things. But luckily this phase seems to be passing. (They always do, so hang in there if you’re going through a tough one too.) So it’s back to forest walks and beach days! The boys definitely prefer nature to crowds. And that’s why homeschooling is awesome for them! This was taken at one of our favourite wildschooling places. It’s full of enormous trees, ferns, streams, bugs and birds. The twins call it the short forest walk, but it’s actually called the Garden of Eden. It’s about one kilometer in length but we usually go around three or four times. As with most activities, it’s all about burning off energy!

This photo of Oscar was taken by Dominic. It’s very difficult to get Oscar to smile for a pic. But at least Dominic got him to look in the direction of the phone. I love how it shows his brooding personality contrasted with his crazy hat.
