About Today’s Episode
On today’s episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I talk to Christine Suarez. A homeschool mom of two living in Brooklyn, New York, Christine uses her 10+ years of experience in education, psychological development, and homeschooling to empower other parents on her website bloomingbrilliant.net.
Christine’s new business, Blooming Brilliant Books, provides thoughtful resources, encouragement, and support to homeschooling parents all over the country. Follow Christine on social media at @BloomingBrilliant, and check out her most recent publication, The Homeschool Pep Talk Journal.
We had some technical issues so the first few questions didn’t record 😫. But there’s so much value in the rest of the episode so I had to publish it! I love that Christine speaks about the importance of mindset, which she believes is vital for being a happy and thriving working homeschool mom. I couldn’t agree more!
She also mentions deschooling as her number one tip when starting out. We all need to deschool through our homeschooling journey so I also agree wholeheartedly with her on this point!
