The Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms – Episode 61
About the Episode
On today’s episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I speak to Naomi Fata. Naomi has been a professional sewing entrepreneur since 2007. She specializes in bridal alterations and custom fitted slipcovers and has recently been delving into teaching sewing online. She is based in New York State, where she homeschools her three children.
It was wonderful to speak to Naomi because we have so many of the same ideas about working and homeschooling. She brings up so many important points about being a working homeschool mom:
- There’s no need to feel guilty about outsourcing.
- It’s ok to create a life that suits you and your family, rather than comparing.
- One of the benefits of homeschooling is being able to model entrepreneurships for our kids.
- Self care can look different for different people. It’s ok to do what feels good for you.
