About Me
Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I’m a working homeschool mom. I started My Little Homeschool in 2017 to document homeschooling my neurodiverse twins.
I’ve pivoted the blog more towards serving moms like me. As a working homeschool mom, I know that it can be tough and also incredibly rewarding. I’m a cheerleader for anyone who wants to home educate and work.
In order to support working homeschool moms, I have a podcast and blog, as well as offering short digital courses and group and individual coaching.
About the Joneses
- We’re a family of 6 (two parents, twins and two feisty mini Dachshund sisters called Daisy and Poppy).
- Our house is always messy, but it’s filled with love!
- We live in the most gorgeous town called Knysna. We’re surrounded by forests and beaches, and we have the most delicious lagoon to swim in.
- My husband is a music producer, composer and mixing engineer. We met in London and basically fell in love instantly – matching tattoos after two weeks in love.
- I’ve had about a million careers (teacher, brand activator, waitress, model, marketing manager, school director, telemarketer etc. etc. etc.)
- My kids are twins but are like chalk and cheese. I’ve always been a big fan of star signs but having twins has made me doubt how true they are!
- I can eat very well with chopsticks. I worked in a Chinese restaurant during university, and the cooks very kindly and patiently taught me. I’m ridiculously proud of this skill!
- I adore red lipstick and red shoes. Red is definitely my power colour and I would have everything in red if I could!
- We love watching seasonal Peanuts movies and listening to music in the car.
- We’re a crazy, loving, complicated, affectionate and loud family that loves each other to pieces.
